Being distracting during movies
When you go to see a film in theaters, everyone is expected to be respectful and turn off or silence their cell phones. There are usually even commercials that say "silence your cellphone". This is because it is a public place where everyone is trying to pay attention to a movie. It can also be disrespectful if you are trying to spend time with someone and they only want to be on their phone, so it is usually best to assume you can't use your phone at the movie theatre. Another distracting thing that people are not supposed to do is talk during movies because it is considered rude. I wish that it wasn't that way because it can be good to discuss the movie you're watching with your friends. I usually do talk to my friends during movies and I'm pretty sure people around us think it's annoying but that doesn't bother me. I have known some people to be aggravated by others eating crunchy or noisy foods during movies, but that can't really be helped because people are going to eat during movies no matter what. Comment below if you have ever been in a situation at the movies where you or somebody else was being a distraction while trying to watch a film.

I think when people constantly talk during the movie it is very annoying, just talk afterwards. If you talk a little bit it is ok. There is no point on having your cellphone out, because it distracted you and everyone else.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to talk, whisper and keep your conversations very short and few in number. You can discuss the film at length after it concludes.
